ICICI Bank or Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India Bank founded in the year 1955 is a financial servicing
as well as banking industry of considerable repute based in India with headquarters at Mumbai, Maharashtra but providing
service worldwide. The company has a wide array of product range comprising of credit card, customer banking, consumer
banking, finance and insurance policies, investment banking, private banking, mortgage as well as wealth management.
It operates in 19 other countries apart from India and is the second largest bank in India with regard to assets and third
largest in terms of market realization; it is one of the BIG FOUR banks of India. In India it operates from 2630 branches
and has around 8000 ATMs and it has well developed array of specialized subsidiaries and a variety of delivery channels for
the purpose of investment banking, life and non life insurances, capital management and also other ventures. The bank was
established in India in the year 1996 as a wholly owned subsidiary however the parent company was founded in collaboration
with World Bank in the year 1955. The domestic subsidiaries of the bank include ICICI Lombard, ICICI Prudential life
insurance, ICICI securities limited, ICICI home finance, ICICI Foundation etc.

certain terms of policies, credit card related issues or misguidance from the officials regarding policy making. The known
complaints range from persuading the customer to accept credit cards and then start taking advantage of other offers there
from and eventually the lured customers take up the credit card on offer, however, after that the customer care executives
or people responsible for that purpose do not entertain the complain of the customer even when the customer cannot enjoy
the benefit he was entitled to enjoy with the card. Other customers complain that the bank cuts the same amount of the
customer twice which might sometimes be a certain amount of the customer s savings! The bank is complained to have cut from
the customer s account without even notifying the customer and there arises the customer grievance as the bank is not
entitled to tamper with the money without notifying the particular customer. Further many customers complain that the bank
did not open up salary accounts for particular customer stating that the neurological disability of the customer as a
setback, those customers were further prevented from using the net banking facility provided to regular customers. Still
some customers are disappointed and vexed by the arrogant and manners-less behavior of the bank staff or executives as they
refuse to accept cheques from the customers who are forced to drop the cheque in the drop boxes, however they do not get
acknowledgement in that process in the proper time.re
